Recipe: Berry Yoghurt Smoothie
A fruity breakfast treat for when you want to impress.
INGREDIENTS
1 cup frozen raspberries
400g can peaches in syrup, undrained
1 large banana (300g)
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 cup yoghurt, for a sweeter smoothie use flavoured yoghurt such as passionfruit flavour
2 egg whites
To decorate: fresh raspberries, sliced banana, strawberries
METHOD
Place raspberries, peaches, banana, milk and honey in a blender and mix until smooth.
Strain into a large bowl to remove seeds. Fold in yoghurt.
Beat egg whites in a small bowl until soft peaks form. Gently fold into smoothie mixture until just combined. Pour into 6 serving glasses.
Refrigerate until set or overnight. Decorate with berries and banana.
