Big Deal
There’s a feeling that’s hard to describe when you stumble across a new podcast series that excites you. Codie Sanchez’s BigDeal podcast is probably resonating with me a lot this year after buying and merging four businesses together from ways I never knew could be possible.
She focuses on untraditional methods for my generation to build wealth from the ballooning trend of retiring baby boomers businesses. If you are a millennial business owner, or looking to leave your 9 to 5, Codie is a formidable force in your ears with bold thinking and entrepreneurial prowess!

The Imperfects
The power of the mind is a fascinating thing, and I recently discovered The Imperfects. We’re all imperfect and this podcast, hosted by Hugh van Cuylenburg, Ryan Shelton, and Josh van Cuylenburg, features interviews with people who bravely share their struggles and imperfections. I particularly enjoy the episodes with their resident psychologist, Dr. Emily. Mental health is a serious topic, but the trio manage to inject some humour, while remaining compassionate.

Sentimental Garbage
Hosted by The New York Times best-selling Irish author Caroline O’Donoghue, and co-hosted by other notable names in the literary and media world (such as Dolly Alderton, Monica Heisey and Siobhán McSweeney), this show is a deep dive into the media and cultural icons millennials and Gen Z alike grew up with – from Bridget Jones, to the Gilmore Girls, to vampires in pop culture, you’ll easily find your own nostalgic special interest subject under the microscope.

Grey Areas
Grey Areas is a is a podcast all about growing up and going grey – in style. Determined to do it with ‘a bit of gorgeousness and gusto’, Petra Bagust is breaking down the barriers of ageing and having the conversations we all should be having, but are perhaps too afraid to broach. Full of wisdom, it is an easy listen that will have you nodding along.
