Fiona McIlraith, the mastermind behind our favourite woollen slippers, Woolfi, inspires us with her top winter comforts.

 

1. My Kobo – I was gifted this for my birthday and can’t wait to hunker down over winter with some good books. I’ve recently finished The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley and find the Kobo a convenient way of borrowing books from the library. Plus it is super lightweight, so ideal for travel.
2. I am never without a merino base layer and socks – perfect for on the sideline at the kids’ sport!
3. A mohair throw for extra warmth on chilly nights. I’ve had the same one for over 25 years and it still looks like new.
4. And of course my Woolfi wool slippers. My current favourite is Valais Slip-on with rubber sole as they’re super versatile for indoor and outdoor use. Lightweight and soft underfoot, I live in them!
