Judges are currently sniffing, swirling and sampling entries for the 2023 Outstanding Food Producer Awards, with category champions announced in the May/June issue of NZ Life & Leisure. Last year’s Earth Champions, Jeremy Friend and partner Sharyn Woodnorth of J. Friend & Co, have been working with honey since 2008 after discovering the richness of regional varietals on a road trip from Auckland to Christchurch. To celebrate our top New Zealand food and drink producers, we’re giving away four tea-and-honey pairing gift boxes.
