Led by Senior Mortgage Adviser Nathan Miglani, Loan Market Paramount prides itself on embodying the values of trust, respect and customer care. Nathan founded Loan Market Paramount in 2017, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the banking and finance industry. Motivated by a sense that customers weren’t getting the guidance they needed, he left the security of working with an established team to set up his own business as a ‘team of one’ within the Loan Market franchise network.
Beginning ‘with an empty CRM and wondering where my first client would come from’, Nathan has built an award-winning business through hard work and determination to always find the best solution for his customers. Having helped hundreds of individuals navigate through the sometimes-complex process of applying for finance, be it a mortgage, business finance, development finance or debt consolidation, there aren’t many scenarios that Nathan hasn’t encountered.
In the years since, he has built a team of like-minded mortgage advisers who are equally dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Carefully developed processes drawing on the strengths of team members enable Loan Market Paramount to treat every application as a priority, making timely execution and proactive communication key aspects of their approach. What’s more, a diverse team representing several nationalities allows Loan Market Paramount to offer outstanding service in a number of languages.
The mortgage advisers are supported by high-calibre support staff, reflecting Nathan’s goal of building a team culture that is all about working together in the best interests of the client. Operations Manager Rebecca Brunning started with Loan Market Paramount as a Client Service Assistant three years ago and has thrived in the supportive environment, growing into a management role where she is able to draw on her understanding of the business ‘from the ground up’. Rebecca has always enjoyed helping clients achieve their goals and ‘now I get to help with this on a larger scale, incrementally improving our processes to make the experience smoother and better for our clients’.
Although the team has grown significantly since those earliest days, Nathan continues to log long hours, working closely alongside the team as Senior Mortgage Adviser and ensuring the highest standards are met and maintained. Little wonder Loan Market Paramount has a five-star reputation for customer service – they’re known for going the extra mile to secure the best possible result.
It’s a formula that has resulted in numerous accolades over the years. Most recently, in 2022, Loan Market Paramount was awarded Top Brokerage by NZ Adviser – a serious accomplishment for a small Canterbury-based team competing against the rest of the country – and Nathan was also awarded Number 1 Mortgage Adviser across Australia and New Zealand in the Loan Market Awards.
This year has seen further expansion for Loan Market Paramount, with the head office in Christchurch relocating to larger premises within the same building at 575 Wairakei Road in Burnside. The business has also acquired the North Canterbury Loan Market franchise previously known as Loan Lassie and operated by Ali Popenhagen, a natural progression given that two team members already live north of the Waimakariri River. In addition, a brand-new Loan Market Paramount office is soon to open in Rolleston, where the business has an established reputation.
