On Stage
A lot has happened since our story on Silhouette Studios (pictured above) in our June/July 2020 issue. Not only have they moved to brand new premises in Burnside – complete with five transitional dance studios including conference rooms and a 120-seat theatre – but they are also hosting the first ever New Zealand Boys Dance Convention, 12–14 February 2021.
Bringing male dancers from all over New Zealand together for a weekend full of inspiration and celebration, the convention will offer a huge variety of dance workshops with experienced guest tutors, a dance party, ‘Battle of the Boys’ competition and much more!
M Factor Fashion Show is Back!
Maree Lucas and her fabulous M Factor Fashion Show, which raises funds for Ronald McDonald House, is back in 2021 and we for one, can’t wait.
‘We were really disappointed when we had to postpone our fashion show for Ronald McDonald House last year,’ explains Maree. ‘Not only is it a chance to raise money for the House, but it’s also time to raise awareness.
‘It was the first year in 11 years that we haven’t run a show, so we are super excited to have our date for this year locked in! Lots of gorgeous fashion, entertainment and of course raising funds for the amazing charity that is Ronald McDonald House.’
The M Factor Fashion Show 2021 will be held at The Tannery on Thursday 25 March. Tickets are available online now at iticket.co.nz , we will see you there!
Restore & Nourish
For those looking for a solution to those dry, cracked hands I can’t recommend Balm enough. I use mine in combination with the coffee scrub and am loving the results!
