Recipe: Blackberry Daiquiris


Celebrate a successful blackberry-foraging mission with these vibrant cocktails.

Tip: If your blender isn’t up to this task, shake the blackberry and rum mixture with the ice cubes, then strain into glasses.

Serves: 6

INGREDIENTS

450g blackberries
½ cup icing sugar
⅓ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
275ml white or golden rum
decent handful ice cubes

METHOD

Put the blackberries, icing sugar and lime juice in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add the rum and ice. Blend, then divide between six martini or coupe glasses and serve immediately.
